I saw both of these movies recently and I gotta say that Transformers did not live up to the hype. I found Die Hard way more entertaining.

To Do: Bay to Breakers 12k

I stumbled upon this 12k in San Francisco that has been going on for close to a Century. This isn't just your typical race, this is a party (at least for the people who follow behind the runners). Everyone dresses up like it's Halloween in May and get straight plastered! I want to do this!

The only drawbacks I see are that there will be many naked MEN there. (ladies sign up here: baytobreakers)

Tokina 16-50 f/2.8

I have been waiting for a mid-range zoom for a long time now since I have been primarily using my shit kit lens. I was looking at the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and even the Nikkor 17-55 f/2.8, but the quality of the Tamron was questionable and the price of the Nikkor was even more questionable ($1200 USD+) !!

I hope that this new offering from Tokina has the same quality as their other lenses. If this is so I will be a proud owner of one in the near-future.
